The New Zealand menswear store opened up their shop in the capital in August when it launched on George Street.
It was third across the UK and now they have opened a store in Royal Exchange Square in Glasgow as a fourth location with it opening on November 26.
Rodd & Gunn was founded in Auckland, New Zealand 75 years ago and has earned a reputation for creating long lasting clothes.
It’s their second store in Scotland but they have had stores in places such as Manhattan, USA and Toronto, Canada as well as other countries including Australia, France, Italy and Belgium as well as their own homeland.
We previously reported that they opened a concession in John Lewis in the summer.
The new store layout has a feature wall behind the counter, with decorative beading to tie into the harmony of the building, as well as wood flooring, white walls and clear lighting to create a formal visual effect which fully immerses customers in the brand.
Chief Executive Officer Michael Beagley stated that: “We look forward to becoming a part of the Glaswegian community and offering our customers a unique shopping experience that reflects the best of New Zealand.”
Launching in store is the latest ‘Beyond the Horizon’ Winter collection, which is the brands signature outerwear, Candiani Italian denim and a ranger of chunky pure woolen knitwear.
Rodd & Gunn bringsNew Zealand to the world by inviting customers into relaxed refinement with styles that pay homage to nature. The brand’s 75-year design reputation and lifestyle adjacency complement Glasgow’s cultural reputation and rich history.
The store also opens just in time for the festive season, with Gunn Gifting on offer for customers to discover. This includes beautifully crafted, timeless pieces for Gunn Guys, paying homage to New Zealand roots that uses the best natural raw material and advanced technology to develop timeless, quality products for generations to come, backed by a two-year guarantee on all goods.
