A fallen tree is causing chaos on a Glasgow railway line.
ScotRail said it had received reports of a tree blocking the line between Glasgow Queen Street and Bishopbriggs at around 10.20am on Saturday.
The rail operator added that until the tracks are cleared services on this route face being delayed, altered, or cancelled.
Members of Network Rail are said to be on their way to the scene and are expected to arrive ‘shortly’.

- Glasgow Queen Street to Aberdeen.
- Glasgow Queen Street to Edinburgh.
- Glasgow Queen Street to Alloa.
- Glasgow Queen Street to Perth.
Service suspended
- Glasgow Queen Street to Anniesland.
It comes as commuters are being warned of disruption on several train lines in and around Glasgow amid Storm Bert.

ScotRail announced on Saturday morning that a signalling fault between Hillfoot and Milngavie was causing ‘some disruption’ to services in the area.
Trains running from Springburn to Milngavie are also subject to delays and alterations.
Meanwhile, speed restrictions are in place on various Glasgow routes with some services facing cancellation due to heavy snow.
The rail operator went on to add that an issue with the overhead lines at Drumgelloch Station in Airdrie was affecting services between Airdrie and Balloch.
Engineers have since restored power to the lines and it is hoped that impacted services – including trains from Helensburgh to Edinburgh – will soon be back on schedule.
