A collision has occurred at Glasgow Road in Baillieston in the city’s East End.
Part of the road near South Scott Street eastbound has been shut.
Emergency services are on the scene, according to Glasgow City Council’s roads department.
They have said that drivers should try to find another route to travel and follow police advice.
A statement issued at 6pm on Tuesday, October 29 reads: “Due to an RTC (road traffic collision), Glasgow Road is closed eastbound from South Scott Street.
“Emergency services are in attendance.
“Drivers are advised to seek an alternative route.”
