The Italian documentary Food For Profit will be shown at the Komedia in Brighton on Wednesday at 7.30pm.
The documentary explores the potential links between agrifood and politics, highlighting violations of EU regulations on animal welfare, exploitation of migrants, water pollution, biodiversity loss and many other themes.

The documentary is directed by Pablo D’Ambrosi and investigative journalist Giulia Innocenzi.

Innocenzi and D’Ambrosi embark on a journey across Europe where they confront farmers, corporations and politicians, exploring their link to the European meat and dairy industry.
The Picturehouse screenings take place from tomorrow to November 7 and will feature a live Q&A following the film with Pablo D’Ambrosi and a panel of guests.
Innocenzi said: “We look forward to bringing the documentary to the UK, and to discussing issues raised in the film in more detail at the upcoming Picturehouse screenings.”
