Currently, Hope Street is closed between Waterloo Street and Gordon Street as emergency services are in attendance.
Around 6.40pm today, Police Scotland has advised drivers to avoid the area and to seek alternative routes.
Motorists passing by are asked to follow the instructions of cops on the scene.
