These tickets allow the chosen organisations to enjoy the carnival on its opening day, December 20.
The lucky winners will be able to experience more than 65 rides and attractions, including the Waltzers, Dodgems, and soft play.
To have a chance of winning the tickets, representatives or beneficiaries of charities and not-for-profit groups must submit a 150-word entry explaining why their organisation deserves the tickets.
The entries should be sent to info@qdevents.co.uk by October 20 and include information about the community group’s work, who will use the tickets, where the group is based and operates, any social media links, a Scottish charity number if applicable, and the applicant’s role within the group as well as their contact details.
Margaret Cowan, group operations manager for QD Events, organisers of the IRN-BRU Carnival, said: “The IRN-BRU Carnival has been around for more than 100 years and is part of Glasgow’s culture.
“We want to ensure we are giving back to the communities who continue to support the event year after year and that’s why for the third year running we are giving away tickets for charities and community groups.
“We’re looking forward to hearing from groups of all shapes and sizes and to meeting some of them on Carnival launch day.”
Tickets for this year’s carnival are now on sale.
