Daniel Millan, 26, appeared at Glasgow Sheriff Court earlier this week after he admitted behaving in an aggressive and racially aggravated manner and brandishing a kitchen knife on May 7, 2024.
He was at a Crookston address at 11.40pm.
Shubb Singh was also there.
While talking, Millan said to Mr Singh: “Get away from my gate, turban boy.
“Come back when you take that turban off you b******.”
Millan went back to his house and came out with a long black-handled kitchen knife.
He held it up and said: “I will put that in you. I will put the 38 right between your f****** mouth”.
Sheriff Mark McGuire inquired: “Is he referring to a rifle?”
The procurator fiscal depute replied: “I believe so.”

The court heard that Mr Singh then returned to his vehicle and left.
He alerted police.
Two days later, Millan was cautioned and charged.
He replied: “I was not at that address on Crookston Road. I am assuming this is near Tesco, where I was at 1.30am to take money out. I can have my mother vouch for that.”
His solicitor told the court: “This is his mother’s address.”
Millan was tagged for 81 days. He will have to stay at his home between 7pm and 7am each day.
Sheriff McGuire warned him: “If you breach the order, you are going to jail.”
