James McAvoy was spotted at Max’s Bar & Cantina on Queen Street in the city centre on Friday, September 27.
The Drumchapel-born actor is known for his roles in films including Atonement, The Last King of Scotland, X-Men, and many more.

During his visit to the boozer, the 45-year-old posed with a staff member for a quick picture.
The pub said: “Great to have James McAvoy in Max’s Bar this afternoon.
“Thanks for joining us.”
It comes after we reported how the actor was recently also spotted at East End boozer Hielan Jessie.
The well-known lad swung by the venue for a pint.
Following his visit to the watering hole, staff shared their excitement about it on social media.
They said his presence ‘brought an electrifying buzz to the cosy pub’.
On top of visiting bars across the city, James was revealed as Celtic’s ‘newest member of staff’ recently.
Ahead of the club’s recent Champions League match against Slovan Bratislava at Celtic Park, the Hoops took to social media to reveal James as their ‘new’ social media admin.
In a comedic video posted on X, the much-loved star and die-hard Celtic fan could be seen posting a picture of the players arriving at the stadium ahead of the game on the team’s social media accounts.
