Eric Da Silva Soars, 29, of Wharfside Close, has been charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm with intent following a violent incident in Dartford.
The charges stem from an assault reported on Spital Street shortly before 8:20 PM on August 31. Upon arrival, officers discovered two men and a woman who had sustained injuries. All three were transported to a London hospital, where their conditions are currently stable.
Detective Chief Inspector Emma Lawry, leading the investigation, stated: “We believe that the suspect and the victims are known to each other, and we are treating the incident as isolated. We are particularly interested in speaking with witnesses who were in the area at the time. It is likely that many people may have recorded the incident, and we urge anyone with footage to come forward as it will greatly aid our investigation.”
Eric Da Silva Soars is scheduled to appear before Medway Magistrates’ Court at a date yet to be determined.
A Kent Police spokesperson added: “Following the assault reported at 8:19 PM on August 31, Eric Da Silva Soars of Wharfside Close, Erith, has been charged with attempted murder and grievous bodily harm with intent. The attack resulted in two men and a woman being hospitalized with stab wounds. They remain in stable condition.”
