The incident happened outside North Kent College in Oakfield Lane just before 8.10am today (September 13).
Officers and South East Coast Ambulance crews attended and found the teenager injured.
She was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for further treatment where her condition is unknown.
The teen, involved in the crash, was reportedly a Year 12 pupil nearby at Wilmington Grammar School for Girls in Parsons Lane.
A letter was sent home by the school thanking parents and students who stopped to help and offered support to anyone who witnessed the accident, according to Kent Online.
A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance said: “SECAmb were called shortly after 8am this morning to reports of an RTC involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.
“Crews assessed and treated one patient at the scene before taking them to Medway Maritime Hospital for further medical treatment.”
A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called by South East Coast Ambulance Service at 8.06am on Friday 13 September to be made aware of a collision involving a teenager and a car in Oakfield Lane, Dartford. Officers attended and took details are required.”
