Orlando Bloom responded with humor after his wife, Katy Perry, revealed that a clean house is her “love language.” Perry had jokingly mentioned that if Bloom tidies up and does the dishes, he might be rewarded in a more intimate way. Bloom joined in the fun by commenting on Perry’s Instagram post, noting that he had taken on the chore.
In a recent “Call Her Daddy” interview, the 39-year-old singer shared, “If I come downstairs and find the kitchen clean, all the dishes done, and the pantry doors closed, you’d better be prepared for some special attention.” She continued, “That’s my love language! I don’t need a red Ferrari—I can buy one myself. Just do the dishes, and I’ll take care of you!”
The couple, who started dating in 2016 and got engaged in 2019, welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove, during their on-and-off relationship.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Bloom reflected on his feelings for Perry, saying, “What drew me to Katy was not just her ubiquitous music, but the person behind it—Katheryn from Santa Barbara.” He added, “Even though our careers can be overwhelming, I always return to her, and we work through it together, just like building a sandcastle.”
Before Bloom, Perry was married to Russell Brand and had relationships with John Mayer. During her “Call Her Daddy” interview, she mentioned that she is no longer attracted to narcissists.
