Temperatures are set to reach 25C in Brighton according to the Met Office, with the alert in place from 9pm Saturday, August 31, to 9am Monday, September 2, in Sussex.
On Saturday, the Met Office predicts highs of 23C and lows of 17C, with sunny intervals throughout the day.
The hot weather will reach its peak on Sunday, with forecast highs of 25C and lows of 17C.

On Monday, temperatures will drop slightly to highs of 22C and lows of 15C.
The alert has been issued by the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA).
During this time, minor impacts are probable across the health and social care sector, the UKHSA said, with increased use of healthcare services and a rise in mortality rate for the vulnerable population likely.
A spokesman for East Sussex County Council said: “Check on elderly neighbours and relatives. Drink plenty of cool drinks to keep hydrated.”
