The Littlehampton Bypass between Bridge Road Roundabout and Lyminster Road Roundabout will be shut overnight from August 27 for five nights.
This is to allow for carriageway lining works to take place.

The closures will be in place from 8pm until 6am only, with a signed diversion in place for motorists.
Littlehampton Town Council said the works, which will be undertaken by West Sussex County Council contractors, should take up to five days to complete.
Motorists travelling in the daytime will be able to use the road as normal and will not need to follow diversions.
A spokesman for the town council said: “This closure is necessary to allow Balfour Beatty to undertake carriageway lining works on behalf of West Sussex County Council.
“An alternative route will be signed on site and access will be maintained for emergency services, residents and pedestrians.”
