BHASVIC, a sixth-form college in Hove, has announced its A-level results for this year, showcasing impressive achievements by its students.
The college, located on Dyke Road, reported a 99% pass rate, with 70% of students earning A*- B grades. BTEC students also excelled, with a 100% pass rate and over 75% achieving a distinction or distinction*.
According to the college, the “vast majority” of students secured a spot at their first-choice university. Notably, 42 students will be heading to Oxford or Cambridge University in September, reinforcing BHASVIC’s status as a top ten global Oxbridge feeder.
Additionally, BHASVIC revealed that 36 students are set to pursue medical degrees.
Principal William Baldwin expressed his gratitude to the staff and congratulated the students on their accomplishments. He emphasized that BHASVIC’s success stems from a combination of exceptional teaching, robust support systems, and a student body driven by curiosity and mutual support.
Baldwin highlighted the importance of qualities like kindness and compassion, noting that while academic results are significant, they do not define a student’s worth. He commended the students for their resilience and wished them success in their future endeavors, praising them as exceptional, inspiring, and talented individuals.
