Seventeen-year-old Lauren Kee is heading back to school for her sixth year, where she will pursue a vocational course in child nursing and midwifery.
The Barrhead High student expressed her delight with her results, noting the challenge of balancing her studies with her kickboxing training.
“I train two days a week before school and every day after school,” Kee said. “I’ve loved kickboxing since I started at age five. I’ve competed in both European and World Championships and will continue with the sport. However, I’m also passionate about nursing.”
Kee, who enjoys working with children through her coaching roles, aspires to combine her love for kids with a nursing career.
