Scott Vaughan, 35, has been charged with three counts of theft to the combined value of over £200.
It comes after three incidents involving an alleged shoplifter in March of this year where a Co-op supermarket in Fort Road, Newhaven was targeted.

Vaughan, of Upper Valley Road in Newhaven, is charged with the theft of a hot dog roll, to the value of £1.50, on March 17.
He is also accused of stealing multiple food items on March 20 and March 26.
Vaughan was arrested on July 25 and charged on July 26. He has been bailed pending his next court appearance on August 30.
