Northiam Surgery in Rye topped the county in the latest NHS patient survey, with 98.8% of respondents reporting an overall positive experience.
It also ranked first in last year’s survey.
Conversely, The Avenue Surgery in Brighton received the lowest positive experience percentage, with only 36.4%.
It also had the highest negative experience rating at 46.1%.
The survey, conducted between January 2 and March 25 this year, asked residents about their experiences with their GP surgeries, covering areas such as ease of phone contact, receptionist helpfulness, and the ability to see their preferred GP.
Around 2.56 million questionnaires were sent to patients aged 16 and over registered with GP practices in England. Approximately 699,790 patients responded, resulting in a national response rate of 27.3%.
Nationally, 73.9% of patients reported a good overall experience with their GP practice.
Northiam Surgery scored 100% for ease of phone contact and 98% for receptionist helpfulness.
In contrast, 80% of respondents found it difficult to contact The Avenue Surgery by phone, and 47.6% found the receptionists unhelpful.
The number of surveys completed varies from surgery to surgery and does not represent every patient registered at any one center.
