A man has been airlifted to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious accident.
The collision occurred on Fairfield Road in Broadstairs just before 12:30pm yesterday.
According to police, the man in his 20s was walking near the junction with Fair Street when he was struck by a black Nissan Qashqai, which remained at the scene.
The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by air ambulance with critical injuries.
A police spokesperson stated: “Our investigation into the incident is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.”
