“The Princes Road McDonald’s in Dartford, owned and operated by local franchisee Greg Abbott, is scheduled to reopen on July 10. The redesign aims to elevate customer experience with McDonald’s latest “Convenience of the Future” concept, featuring a new layout and advanced technology for streamlined ordering.
This location will introduce a dedicated delivery area, complete with a separate entrance for couriers, aimed at improving efficiency and reducing congestion. The front counter has been restructured to enhance customer flow across different service channels, aiming to minimize touchscreen traffic and shorten queues.
A redesigned kitchen layout includes expanded order assembly spaces for dine-in orders, aimed at boosting crew efficiency and order accuracy. Improved crew break areas and revamped crew rooms promise a more comfortable environment for staff.
The Dartford restaurant will feature sustainable elements such as LED lighting, wall graphics made from recycled coffee beans, and recyclable floor and wall tiles. Furniture crafted from recycled materials aligns with McDonald’s goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2030 across its global operations.
Additionally, the reopening will create twenty new job opportunities within the local community. Greg Abbott expressed enthusiasm about enhancing customer experiences and creating local employment opportunities through these investments in his restaurant.”
