Feid, whose real name is Salomón Villada Hoyos, was born in Medellín, Colombia on August 19, 1992, and gained prominence as a prominent figure in Colombia’s music scene.
Starting his career as a songwriter and producer, the 31-year-old contributed to hits for renowned artists such as J Balvin, Christina Aguilera, Nicky Jam, and others. Despite his success behind the scenes, Feid felt compelled to explore singing as a solo artist.
His musical influences span back to the early 2000s, blending urban beats with inspirations from icons like Notorious B.I.G., whom he cited as a favorite rapper, and the reggaeton stylings of artists like Yandel.
Feid’s alter ego, Ferxxo, rose to fame with the hit “Que Raro,” featuring J Balvin, which soared on the Billboard charts. Since then, he has released multiple albums, including “Así Como Suena,” “19,” “FERXXO (VOL 1: M.O.R),” and others, culminating in collaborations like “MANIFESTING 20-05 – EP” with Yandel.
Recently, Feid embarked on the FERXXOCALIPSIS tour across the United States, performing in arenas and surprising fans with guest appearances from artists like Ryan Castro, Arcangel, and Yandel, all amidst his signature green-themed stage setup.
His tour concluded on July 6 in Miami at the Hard Rock Stadium, marking his debut performance in a stadium setting with a capacity of up to 65,326 attendees. Notably, Feid also performed at the 2024 Copa America inauguration at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on June 20 and featured as the cover story for Billboard in March 2023, underscoring his continued rise in the music industry.
