Euro 2024 kicks off this week, and to celebrate, our KM Group newspapers feature a special supplement dedicated to top-class football this summer.
In partnership with the Kent FA, we’re celebrating the Euros, which begin this Friday, and highlighting our own young footballers in the county. The supplement includes numerous team pictures and a souvenir wallchart.

Track the progress of European nations as they aim for the final in Berlin on Sunday, July 14.
Germany, the host nation, opens the tournament in Munich on Friday against Scotland, followed by England, led by Gareth Southgate, facing Serbia on Sunday night.
Our supplement features a series of interviews, including one with former England and Gillingham manager Peter Taylor.
Read Peter Taylor’s insights on England’s prospects this summer and his thoughts on the squad, including former Gravesend school pupil Marc Guehi, who may replace the injured Harry Maguire in the Three Lions’ defense.
We also spoke with Kent FA’s football development officer, Toby Elgar, about significant changes in youth football.
Additionally, we interviewed a former Scotland youth international who has lived in Kent for 25 years. Robin Rae, a defender-turned-goalkeeper, participated in the UEFA under-18 European Championships in 1982, Scotland’s sole international football triumph.
Kent FA’s youth and mini soccer development officer, Toby Elgar, is excited about the new changes coming.
The supplement is filled with pictures of boys’ teams from across Kent.
For those in girls’ teams, stay tuned. With the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 on the horizon, we will run a similar supplement to highlight our female players next season.
Pick up your copy of Euro Vision in your local KM Group newspaper from Wednesday, June 12.
