Transport for London (TfL) has announced that this order is necessary to facilitate the installation of electric vehicle charging points on the A232 High Street.
This no-stopping rule will be in effect from 7am on June 7, 2024, until 7pm on September 7, 2024, or until the work is completed.
No vehicles will be allowed to stop in the following areas on Bromley High Street:
1. The north side of High Street, between Surrey Road and 128 High Street.
2. The loading and disabled parking bay outside Nos. 59-61 High Street.
3. The parking and disabled parking bay outside Nos. 61-71 High Street.
The rule will be enforced only during times indicated by traffic signs.
Exceptions to this rule include:
1. Vehicles used for the installation work or for emergency services (fire brigade, ambulance, police).
2. Actions permitted by a uniformed police officer or an authorized person from Transport for London.
