There are long delays on the M20 coastbound after a serious crash.
The collision occurred on the eastbound side between Junction 3 for the Addington Interchange and Junction 4 for Leybourne.
Traffic was being held while emergency services worked at the scene, but two lanes have since reopened.
Drivers are being told to expect around 45 minutes of delays and two miles of congestion.
National Highways is predicting that the road will not be cleared until 11pm and that it will be gone midnight before traffic is back to normal.
There are no details yet of any injuries.
The incident is the latest frustration for motorists on the roads today.
Earlier, there was heavy congestion on the A249 at Stockbury after the flyover works there reduced a busy slip road to one lane.
