Doctor Who star Matt Smith filming new TV series in Brighton

The Hollywood actor has been spotted across Brighton as he films scenes for a new TV series based on a Nick Cave novel.

After earlier filming at a café in the city, the House of the Dragon and The Crown star was spotted by residents filming in Bedford Square.

Smith was snapped by Bedford Square residents filming scenes with a car seen on the set of The Death of Bunny Munro earlier this week.

He has been spotted across Brighton filming scenes for the new Sky Atlantic show in recent days having filmed in Belchers Café in Montpelier Road on Monday.

Matt Smith will star as the titular Bunny Munro in the new show having made his name as the eleventh Doctor in Doctor Who.

He also starred as Prince Philip in the first two series of The Crown alongside Claire Foy and recently featured in Game of Thrones spin-off House of the Dragon.

The Death of Bunny Munro will be coming to Sky Atlantic in the near future and is based on Nick Cave’s second novel of the same name.

The Bad Seeds singer is also helping to produce the series.
