Trains were stopped because of a disturbance at a station.
Southeastern services in Maidstone were not able to run because of the incident, initially said to involve more than one passenger.
A post on X from the railway company at the time said: “Because of passengers causing a disturbance at Maidstone East, services are currently unable to run in either direction.”
Southeastern bosses have since confirmed that it was one passenger, who has now been removed from the railway.
Trains are still disrupted because of this, as well as a safety inspection on a train in the West Malling area.
The British Transport Police (BTP) has been contacted for comment.
