Ben Rogers lost his life to a driver who was speeding at more than double the legal limit in a 30mph zone. The driver had received a speeding fine shortly after obtaining his driver’s license and was gifted a £12,000 car by his parents, despite repeated warnings from them to drive more cautiously.
