Latest TV announced that it would be leaving its Manchester Street offices and bar after 17 years at the site.
The channel now says it is partnering with Brighton Palace Pier and will run its live events and film production operations from the landmark.
Bill Smith, who runs Latest, said: “We are very excited to be bringing our team to Brighton Palace Pier and look forward to presenting and filming more of the stories that make Brighton and Hove the great cultural beacon that it is.
“Brighton Palace Pier is one of the best and most iconic attractions in the UK, visited by millions every year and we are proud of our longstanding partnership.”
A spokeswoman for Latest said that the TV channel would be leaving its Manchester Street offices at the end of their lease next week.
The company will now run its live events operations from Horatio’s Bar on the pier and will use the pier as the backdrop for its filming.
The production company will then be based out of the Brighton Palace Pier offices.
The company also said it had campaigned for its former Manchester Street site to remain an arts venue and will be re-opened as the Manchester Street Arts Club under a new operator.
