He hosted a packed-out event at Fabrica in Brighton as part of the campaign to elect Sian Berry as the Green MP for Brighton Pavilion when voters next go to the polls.
The current Green MP, Caroline Lucas, is standing down at the next election.
Since being picked as her party’s candidate in July last year, Ms Berry has knocked on thousands of doors across the city and told activists and members about the issues that matter to voters.
She said: “In the middle of a growing crisis of inequality, climate concern and simple daily living costs, people have told me what matters most to them from their next MP and I am determined to deliver.
“The cornerstones of our campaign will uphold these concerns and that’s why it will be completely people-powered.
“The people of Brighton Pavilion deserve a strong voice in Parliament, unafraid and unwhipped.
“If I am elected to continue in Caroline Lucas’s footsteps, I will be fearless in advocating for the things that matter to people.”
Sian said residents have told her they want to see water back in public ownership, action on NHS waiting times and greater urgency in tackling the housing crisis.
Mr Polanski said: “I really loved knocking on doors today and seeing the clear enthusiasm for Sian Berry and the Green Party campaign.
“Caroline Lucas has given Brighton Pavilion an amazing legacy and people in Brighton can be absolutely sure that Sian will keep that strong, independent, Green voice in Parliament.”
Ms Berry said: “The view from our stage was incredible and thanks so much to Zack for hosting a standing-room only evening.
“I’m massively grateful to everyone who has worked so hard since our launch over six months ago, who packed our audience with our growing band of passionate people taking action to keep Brighton green and listening to residents.”
