Siobhan Malley, 35, was last seen around 3.37pm on January 24 in the Fountain Gardens area of Paisley.
Her family fears she could have been manipulated by someone with nefarious intentions.
Her niece Rachael Gray shared the family’s distress over Siobhan’s disappearance.
The 21-year-old said: “As a family we are really, really worried about her.
“This just brings up a whole new round of feelings that we’ve never felt before.
“She’s such a big part of all of our lives.”
With a young daughter at home, Rachael says that Siobhan’s disappearance has filled her with anxiety.
She said: “I just want to know where she is. We just want to know that she’s safe.
“We don’t care what she’s got up to, we just want her back safe and sound. We just want to know that she’s okay.”
Rachael said Siobhan is vulnerable and could be easily led.
“We’re quite worried she may have come into contact with somebody that she thinks she can trust and you know, she can’t trust them.
“That’s the worst-case scenario because she is so easily trusting, she doesn’t see the bad in people.”
Siobhan’s family are pleading with the public to come forward if they have information and speak to them or the police.
Rachael said: “If she is with someone and maybe they are scared to say that she’s with them, just get in contact with one of us so we can make sure that she’s alright.”
Rachael describes her aunt as incredibly funny with the ability to make anyone laugh.
She added: “We love her so much and we just want her back home.”
Residents in the area claim they saw Siobhan at the Old Swan Inn on Smithhills Street, Paisley on Tuesday, January 23.
Police later released CCTV footage of Siobhan wearing yellow jogging trousers, a white hooded top, a beige jacket, and white trainers.
She is described as white, 5ft 7 inches tall and of medium build, with brown hair which she wears tied back.
She was last seen at around 3.37pm on January 24 on Glen Street and officers believe she may have entered Fountain Gardens.
On Wednesday afternoon, officers ramped up their search for Siobhan at the location where she was last spotted.
Between 2.30pm and 4.30pm the force stopped and spoke to pedestrians and motorists in Caledonia Street, Blythswood Drive, Love Street, Glen Street and Fountain Gardens area in an effort to gather more information for their investigation.
Siobhan is known to frequent the Foxbar area and her family think there is a chance she may have travelled there.
Sergeant Ryan Jardine, of Paisley Police Office, said: “We’re becoming increasingly concerned for Siobhan’s welfare and would like to trace her urgently.”
“I would urge anyone who has seen her, or if you recognise her from the description and photographs, please contact us.
“If you have any information on her whereabouts, please contact us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 3318 of January 23.
