The Pass at South Lodge in Horsham was the highest-ranked of the Sussex restaurants on the Top 100 list, being placed in 9th.
Discussing the restaurant SquareMeal wrote: “Ben Wilkinson’s Michelin-starred restaurant is nothing short of sublime.
“A glass wall separates the 28-cover dining room from the kitchen, so diners can watch the team in action, while dishes are served by the chefs who made them. Clean, concise, and perfectly balanced plates are impossible to fault.”

Next up is Furna, which was ranked 23rd, and described as arguably “Brighton’s most notable fine dining restaurant”.

Following that is The Little Fish Market on Upper Market Street in Brighton which was in 87th place on the list.

“There’s only one menu to choose from, but Kenny’s food is some of the most inventive, daring food in the country right now.”
One reviewer on Tripadvisor wrote of The Set: “One of the best meals I have ever had. At the end of the meal we spent 20 min trying to work out the best dish with the consensus that they were too good to decide.”
