Tell us about Zeda.io
Zeda.io is an AI-powered product discovery and strategy software that helps product teams uncover problems that matter to customers, decide what to build next, align product teams through builds, and create revenue-generating, impactful products.
How did you come up with the idea for the company?
Before founding Zeda.io, I spent my career as a Product Manager for great companies across India, the USA, Indonesia, and Japan. It was in these roles that I realized that we were wasting a lot of time: as highly intelligent Product Managers, we were wasting a lot of updating Excel sheets, which didn’t make sense. Beyond that, I realised that many Product Managers are unsure if they are building the right products. There’s a good reason for this: until now, there hasn’t been a consolidated platform that allows Product Managers to collect the right data and customer feedback and translate it into clear and actionable insights. That’s why I founded Zeda.io: it’s the only interconnected platform where Product Managers can do everything, including leveraging AI to translate data analysis into opportunities.

How has the company evolved over the last couple of years?
We’ve come a long way. Currently, our workforce stands at approximately 25 dedicated employees, spanning across teams in both India and the United States. Reflecting on our recent milestones, in 2021, we successfully initiated our journey by securing a pre-seed funding round of $550,000, while boasting an impressive valuation of $5.3 million. The following year, in 2022, marked a significant leap for us as we proudly unveiled our product to the public, securing our first paying customer. Accompanying this achievement was an additional funding injection of $1.2 million, followed by a further raise of $2.1 million. We continue to expand our customer base, and we are steadfast in our mission to achieve profitability in the upcoming year. Our journey reflects the incredible progress we’ve made as a company.
What can we hope to see from Zeda.io in the future?
Looking ahead to the future, our vision is a world where innovation is accessible and effortless for everyone. Specifically, we aim to empower Product Managers with the tools and resources to catalyse innovation, making the process faster and more efficient. In this future, Product Managers will be equipped with AI co-pilots, which will help them to accomplish tasks with increased speed and precision. They will also have immediate access to a wealth of information, ensuring they can build better products and steer clear of costly errors, such as flawed product features.
Our commitment to this vision extends to a broader goal of reducing wasteful product development and fostering a more sustainable and purpose-driven approach to innovation. We aspire to see the emergence of new products that are not only groundbreaking but also focused on solving critical real-world problems.
